AutoGlobalTrade is a multinational B2B (business to business) vehicle trading company operating globally. We are one of the leading independent importers for American vehicles to Europe and export premium vehicles to over 90 countries worldwide.
Through our vehicle inspections, examining each car individually, we offer proper conversions to country specific regulations in Europe. Our after sales and logistic departments ensure an efficient and highly professional distribution. Our sales staff has the capability to operate in over 20 languages. Your sales representative however will remain the sole contact throughout the entire process no matter from which subsidiary you are purchasing from.
Being a major automobile importer to Europe and exporter worldwide, we strive to set a leading example for our industry.
Challenge and solution
The development of the AMSIS system began in 2008. At first, it was a small application for placing the orders on a car, managing its further assembly, and delivering it to the buyer. To meet the growing needs of the evolving business, the requirements for the application increased and involved significant changes in the logic of code and database, substantial refactoring, as well as other improvements. The transition to the ASP.NET MVC and Entity Framework architecture greatly facilitated the application’s development process. The introduction of tools such as JIRA and GIT improved communication with the clients.
In 2015, AutoGlobalTrade saw a new, more flexible, scalable, and reliable version of AMSIS2. The updated version of the application still undergoes further refinements, ongoing changes, and continuous improvements. Safe modules are being added for communication with external suppliers and customers, internal modules are being employed for organizing logistics, evaluations, and calculations, modules for special assembly of vehicles are being constantly expanded.
We are striving to create a transparent, convenient, user-friendly solution that will efficiently perform complex and challenging business tasks. We believe we are on the right track!
